We are on the Missouri / Arkansas border GPS systems often get confused about 2 miles up the road. If you cannot see the lake but instead are looking at cows you have not arrived – please continue down McBride road which is paved to the resort. You will see the lake and a large sign that states Welcome to Blue Waters .
Springfield MO take Hwy 65 South. Travel 65 South to 160 East Exit towards Bull Shoals Lake and Forsyth. Follow 160 East (1-2 miles outside of Forsyth you will need to make a right turn to stay on Hwy 160 there are 3 gas stations buildings at this 3 way intersection Scotters Express , Junction Tackle & Flea Market and a closed Sinclair. This is the last restroom until you reach the resort 30-35 min.) to 125 South through Protem MO ( Note do not turn left onto 125 stay on 160-125 until 160 veers to the left you will stay straight on 125) . Less than a mile past Protem (after the 2 one lane bridges) , take a right on McBride Road. (First paved road to the right) Follow the signs 4.5 miles down McBride Road to Blue Waters Resort.
From St. Louis, MO – Take 1-44 West to Springfield, MO. Directions from Springfield approx 265 Miles. Note there is an alternate route via Rolla which we do take frequently and would be happy to email you.
From Tulsa, Ok – Take 1-44 East to Springfield, MO. Follow Directions from Springfield approx 250 Miles.
From Kansas City, MO – Take 71 South to I-44 East to Springfield, MO. Follow Directions from Springfield approx 245 Miles.
From Chicago, IL – Take I-55 South to St Louis to I-44 West. Follow directions from
St. Louis noted above. 570 miles from Chicago area.
